According to the British Chambers of Commerce, 25% of small businesses are currently using AI, with another 24% planning to integrate the technology in the near future. This mirrors findings from Amazon Web Services, which reveal that 52% of UK businesses now use AI, an impressive increase from 39% the previous year. Notably, 92% of those businesses that have adopted AI report increased revenue, underscoring the technology's potential to drive business growth.

The productivity benefits of AI are becoming evident, with research from the University of St. Andrews revealing gains ranging from 27% to 133% for SMEs that use AI tools in key operations, such as inventory management and staff rostering.  As AI becomes more accessible, small businesses are leveraging the technology not only to streamline operations but also to enhance customer engagement.
