Bria Raises $40M In Series B To Expand Visual Generative AI For Enterprises

Bria secures $40 million in Series B funding, bringing total capital to $65 million. The investment supports its AI platform, built on 100% licensed data, expanding attribution beyond images to music, video, and text. Bria partners with major tech firms and media providers, ensuring IP compliance and sustainable AI-driven content creation.

Bria, a leading enterprise visual generative AI platform, has successfully secured $40 million in Series B funding, bringing its total capital raised to $65 million. The investment round was led by Red Dot Capital, with participation from Maor Investment, Entrée Capital, GFT Ventures, Intel Capital, and In-Venture. This funding will support Bria’s expansion, enabling enterprises to integrate its AI-driven content generation technology in a secure and compliant manner.

Dr. Yair Adato, Bria’s Founder and CEO, stated:

"Since its inception, Bria’s mission has been to bridge the accountability gap between organisations and Gen AI through transparency, accessibility, and control. While our patented attribution technology has instilled trust in AI systems, facilitating responsible, controlled access to coveted IP content will change the game. Enterprises can use our source code and API platform to integrate visual generative AI inside their products and access previously untouchable premium branded content. By broadening our attribution offering to all types of content, including music, video, and text, we are helping to usher in a truly sustainable creative economy.”

Expanding generative AI with licensed content

Bria’s generative AI models are exclusively trained on licensed data, ensuring intellectual property (IP) compliance while offering businesses a scalable solution for creating visual content. The company’s technology empowers organisations to generate on-brand and controlled visuals while mitigating risks associated with AI adoption.

With the new investment, Bria plans to extend its patented attribution engine beyond images to include music, video, and text generation. This development aims to create a sustainable content ecosystem where businesses can access licensed media assets from content providers while ensuring rightful compensation for data owners.

Bridging the IP compliance gap in AI

A key concern surrounding AI development is the potential disregard for existing intellectual property and licensing protocols. Bria addresses this challenge by establishing an IP-compliant AI ecosystem. Its platform allows businesses to leverage content from media conglomerates and studios while maintaining legal transparency.

Bria’s attribution engine ensures that content owners are compensated based on their influence in AI-generated outputs. This commercial model, similar to that of Spotify, supports fair remuneration without infringing copyright or privacy regulations. Bria has over 30 data partners, including Getty Images, Envato, Alamy, Freepik, and Depositphotos, to strengthen its licensed data ecosystem.

Flexible AI integration for enterprises

Bria offers extensive flexibility for developers and enterprises, providing access to visual foundation models, source code, and a fine-tuning API. The platform integrates seamlessly with AWS SageMaker, Azure AI Foundry, AI marketplaces, ComfyUI, and Fal.AI, while offering plug-ins for Photoshop and Figma. Enterprises using Bria’s technology retain full ownership of their content, intellectual property, and data.

Danielle Ardon Baratz of Red Dot Capital highlighted the significance of Bria’s approach:
"The potential of generative AI in the enterprise space—where efficiency and creativity drive ROI—is immense. Bria is redefining how enterprises create and personalise visual content at scale with its enterprise-grade platform, designed for control, predictability, and modularity. Bria is setting a new standard in AI-driven content generation. We are excited to support their journey as they help bring Gen AI to more organisations in a risk-free manner, how and where they want, while pioneering an innovative business model that keeps content creators compensated and incentivised."

Industry recognition and strategic growth

Bria’s Series B funding comes nearly a year after closing its Series A round in March 2024. Over this period, the company has solidified its leadership in AI-generated visual content through strategic partnerships with technology giants, including NVIDIA, Microsoft, and AWS. Bria was also named an AWS Design Partner of the Year and has expanded its collaborations with global brands across various industries, including media, gaming, entertainment, retail, and marketing.
