Convenient And Accessible Technology: Dinis Guarda Interviews Robb Wilson, CEO And Co-Founder, OneReach.ai And Author Of ‘Age Of Invisible Machines’

Robb Wilson is a serial entrepreneur, author, technologist consultant for Fortune 500 companies like Qwest and National Geographic, and former creative executive at Time Warner. An expert in user experience, he was the guest in the latest episode of the Dinis Guarda YouTube Podcast to discuss the advancements in technologies like Artificial Intelligence that are progressively improving the existing user capacities.

From simple machines to complex AI systems, technology has always been designed to help humans do things faster, better, and more efficiently. And as technology continues to evolve, its potential to aid human capacities has never been greater. However, as technology advances, it is essential to ensure that everyone has access to it and can benefit from it. Unfortunately, many people are left behind due to various reasons, including economic, social, and physical barriers.

Creating bridges between the real and digital worlds means designing technology that is intuitive, user-friendly, and adaptable to various contexts. It requires an understanding of how technology can be used to enhance our daily experiences, rather than creating a barrier between us and the world around us.

Robb Wilson is an expert in creating accessible user interfaces for all. Explaining his vision in the interview, he told Dinis:

“My job was to become the bridge between the conventional world and the new digital world. I’m a technologist and act as a translator for all those old-timers who know the craft inside out. The craft still is at the heart of all the digitalisation happening around. My only challenge was how to put these digital tools in the hands of craftsmen, businesses, thinkers, and the operators who know to operate them.”

Innovation As The Tool To Create Balance In Society And Business: Hirander Misra, Chairman And CEO Of GMEX Group, Discusses The Pivotal Role That Technology Plays

Convenient Technology for users

CEO And Co-Founder, OneReach.ai And Author Of ‘Age Of Invisible Machines’

Technology has revolutionised our lives in numerous ways, making things easier, faster, and more convenient. From smartphones to laptops, we have seen a significant transformation in the way we interact with the world around us. However, as technology continues to advance, there is still a lot of room for improvement, and one of the areas that require attention is creating technology that makes the lives of users more convenient.

Convenience is a critical aspect of our lives. Creating technology that makes the lives of users more convenient is essential for improving the user experience. It involves identifying pain points, designing solutions that address the issues, and creating intuitive technology that is easy to use.

Highlighting the direction of innovation where technology can make progress to deliver better user experiences, Robb told Dinis:

“It’s all about bringing the technology to the end users. That’s where everybody misses the point. When we look at people now utilising technology, we always think of ‘How to teach and educate them and bring them to the technology’. But what we really need to do is bring the technology to them. Teach the machines to talk to them, don’t try them to talk to the machines. That’s what we just made it happen.

Let’s not teach people how to use antiquated user interfaces. Let’s now take machines and teach them how to talk to people to buy crypto with conversational AI.”

Technology such as online banking, voice-activated assistants, and mobile applications have already made life more convenient for users. As technology continues to advance, we can expect more innovations that will make our lives even more comfortable and convenient.

AI is a tool of future

The rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has brought about a new era of technological advancements, one that promises to revolutionize the way we live and work. Machines are getting smarter by the day, and with their ever-increasing capabilities, they are poised to help humans achieve better results in every aspect of life.

AI technology has already made significant progress in numerous industries, ranging from healthcare to finance, and it is only going to continue to evolve and improve. As machines become smarter, they will be able to analyse vast amounts of data quickly and accurately, making it possible to solve problems that were once considered unsolvable.

While some fear that machines will replace humans, the reality is that machines are becoming smarter and will help humans achieve better results in every aspect of life. During the interview, Robb presented convincing arguments that machines and technology have evolved over the course of years. A ‘smart’ machine could be a ray of hope for the humanity that aids human capacities.

“Machines have been killing us every day, since their inception. Their becoming smart is the possible solution they are not killing us. So, machines are going to keep getting smarter. I don’t want it to be a simple machine. All we are now going to see machines evolving along the way, and not replacing humans, maybe never ever”, he said.
