Deepki Acquires Camion to Expand Agentic AI Capabilities for Real Estate

LONDON, 30 July 2026 — Real estate sustainability technology company Deepki has acquired UK-based Camion, a specialist in agentic artificial intelligence and electrification planning for commercial property.
The acquisition brings Camion’s AI platform, predictive financial models and energy expertise into Deepki’s sustainability data platform. The companies said the combined solution will help real estate owners and asset managers identify priority investments in electrification, on-site energy generation, battery storage and electric-vehicle charging.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Combining Real Estate Data With Agentic AI
Deepki provides a software platform that allows property owners, investors and occupiers to collect and analyse environmental, energy and financial information across real estate portfolios. According to the company, its proprietary data layer covers more than 500,000 assets across 95 countries.
Camion’s technology is designed to analyse individual sites continuously, using information such as projected electricity demand, local energy tariffs and grid conditions. It then identifies locations where technologies including solar generation, battery storage and charging infrastructure may offer the strongest financial returns.
By integrating these capabilities, Deepki aims to provide customers with faster portfolio-level assessments and clearer investment priorities. The combined platform is intended to support decisions about where capital should be deployed, which assets face power constraints and how energy upgrades could affect operating costs and property value.
Deepki said the technology could support increases of up to 40% in site Net Operating Income through selected upgrades and reduce underwriting time for new energy assets by as much as 90%. These figures are company estimates and will depend on the asset, location, energy market and selected infrastructure.
Real Estate’s Role in Electrification
Buildings are becoming more closely connected to the energy system. The expansion of electric vehicles, heat pumps, renewable power, battery storage and data centres is increasing electricity demand and placing new pressure on local grids.
For property owners, this creates both risk and opportunity. Buildings with limited access to power may become more difficult or expensive to operate. Sites with suitable grid connections, roof space, land or parking facilities may be able to generate new revenue or reduce costs through energy infrastructure.
Deepki described the wider transition as a multitrillion-dollar investment opportunity. BloombergNEF has estimated that reaching global net-zero emissions could require close to $7 trillion in annual energy investment, with electric vehicles, low-carbon power and power grids among the largest areas of capital deployment.
The Camion acquisition is intended to help real estate investors determine how this transition affects specific assets rather than relying only on broad sustainability targets.
Leadership Comments
Vincent Bryant, CEO and co-founder of Deepki, said the acquisition would add Camion’s electrification models and specialist team to Deepki’s existing AI Lab. He said the combined platform would help institutional investors protect asset value and make long-term investment decisions across global portfolios.
Bryant also highlighted the experience of Camion’s team, whose members have worked across energy, commercial real estate and data science organisations including Tesla, Palantir and CBRE.
Jacob Monroe, CEO and co-founder of Camion Energy, said institutional real estate portfolios represent a significant opportunity for financially viable clean-energy deployment. Combining Camion’s domain-specific AI with Deepki’s asset data and customer network, he said, could accelerate investment in electrification and distributed energy infrastructure.
Global Expansion and Customer Continuity
Camion is Deepki’s fourth strategic acquisition since the company was founded in 2014. The transaction adds experience in the UK and US markets to Deepki’s existing operations across four continents.
Deepki said Camion’s customers will continue to work with their existing teams and technologies, with no interruption to current services. Deepki’s wider customer base will be offered access to Camion’s AI and electrification capabilities as the technology is integrated.
Deepki currently works with more than 600 customers and says it monitors the sustainability performance of over €4 trillion in real estate assets under management. Its clients include Generali Real Estate, PGIM and Swiss Life Asset Managers. The company employs more than 400 people and supports portfolios across more than 60 property types.
The acquisition reflects a broader change in property technology: sustainability platforms are moving beyond emissions measurement and regulatory reporting towards investment planning, asset optimisation and energy infrastructure management.
For cities, this shift could affect how buildings interact with electricity networks. Better coordination between real estate owners, utilities and local authorities will be needed as properties become sites of energy consumption, generation, storage and mobility infrastructure.
