DLA Piper names Brett Ingerman, the co-managing partner of the DLA’s Baltimore office, to The Daily Record's 2024 Influential Marylanders, a list that recognises professionals who “have made significant impacts in their field and continue to be leaders in Maryland.”

Brett's selection highlights his remarkable achievements and dedication within the legal industry, especially in complex commercial disputes, insurance and bankruptcy litigation, and corporate governance.

Brett Ingerman is the co-managing partner at DLA Piper's Baltimore office. His main area of focus is the business and commercial litigation practice, where he deals with complex commercial disputes, insurance, and bankruptcy cases. He has tried numerous cases to verdict in courts all over the country.

Brett Ingerman is also the co-chair of the firm’s Business and Commercial Litigation practice and has significant experience in corporate investigations, governance and compliance involving criminal, quasi-criminal and administrative agencies. He has designed and implemented global compliance programs for companies large and small; and focuses on providing practical compliance advice consistent with best practices and local custom. 

Recently, Brett has conducted a series of large, independent investigations into potential estate claims in bankruptcy.
