Five Microsoft Power platform consultancies worth knowing in 2026

Five Microsoft Power platform consultancies worth knowing in 2026

Power platforms have grown in popularity as automation potential has scaled, and it now demands more than just looking to find someone who can wire together a few flows and ship a competent Power App. That bar has moved. Copilot Studio is now on top of Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse, so the team that makes a workflow is often the same one deciding how an AI agent gets to read your business data.

None of the five firms below actually sell the Power Platform licences themselves (Microsoft does that) but the differences matter in who implements and maintains what gets built.

Powergi

Powergi is run by two named co-founders, Graciela Martinez and Hugo Barrera, not some rather anonymous outsourced team. Martinez leads the technical build, Barrera the business-intelligence side. That's a boutique difference for a small or mid-size company, where "who will actually be on my project" is often the real question behind "who should we hire."

Practice spans the full stack rather than just the original three apps. Power Apps and Power Automate work besides Power Pages, Copilot Studio integration, Power BI/Microsoft Fabric work… All under one small team rather than passed around between departments.

The firm's own blog is active rather than dormant with recent posts walking through Copilot Studio's June rebuild and cross-environment Power Automate scripting. Martinez also teaches Power Platform courses, showing authority and leadership.

JourneyTeam

JourneyTeam was a finalist for Microsoft's 2024 Low-Code Application Development Partner of the Year. This alone puts them inside the small circle of firms that Microsoft itself is watching rather than just certifying. Its Power Platform Sherpa Program is built in response to common complaints that clients moan about consultancies - open-ended communication that drifts way past their original scope and budget.

The program hones in on a pre-agreed level of hands-on support upfront. At Centro de la Familia, a US non-profit, the Power App they helped build needed just one hour of training before staff could then use it unsupervised. Though, on-going support is always crucial regardless.

ServerSys

ServerSys works out of two UK offices, in Berkshire and London. It has a Cyber Essentials certification, which is the UK government-backed cybersecurity standard, along with its  Microsoft partner badge - assessed independently rather than awarded by the vendor whose products are being sold.

For a UK business weighing a Power Platform build against GDPR and data-residency questions, that combo of verifiable registration plus outside audit is a more concrete signal than years-in-business alone.

Rishabh Software

Rishabh Software's case studies tend to lead with their numbers, like their Power Platform-based tax compliance build that cut manual compliance effort by 75%. Another was a vendor onboarding platform that was built for a US luxury fashion brand, and it managed to cut onboarding turnaround time by around half. Then there was a recruitment application built for a US staffing agency improved time efficiency by 30%. We have to bear in mind with testimonials that the figures are often independently audited (the firm's own reporting) but when client’s are named each time, it makes them more credible.

With offices spanning the US, UK and Australia, it's also one of the few names here built for round-the-clock delivery. Their teams are large and they’re aware of compliance context in various markets.

EPC Group

EPC Group is the oldest name on this list by quite some distance. It was founded in 1997 as Enterprise Project Consulting, then renamed in 2005, but still runs under the same Microsoft-only focus 29 years later.

Its client list is on the level of federal and Fortune 500. NASA, the FBI, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, PepsiCo, Nike and Northrop Grumman are some of the organisations it names. So it’s not cheap, but it’s highly credible and backed by more than 1,500 Power BI deployments.

Founder Errin O'Connor sat on the original Power BI beta team which was originally called Project Crescent, as well as the original SharePoint beta team, and has written four Microsoft Press bestsellers on the two products since. It’s a step up from just flaunting the certification badge, it means the firm's leadership has helped shape the tools it now implements rather than only learning them after release.

Picking between them

None of these five are the objectively best Power Platform consultancy. Best can only be best for you, and they're built for different buyers. Powergi and JourneyTeam suit a company that wants a named, specialist team and a defined scope - and one where a smaller team is fine.

ServerSys and Rishabh Software suit those who want security certification or quantified outcomes at a slight premium, while EPC Group suits those with a higher budget and needing the federal-grade governance rather than just a cheap, fast build. A tailored approach doesn’t always need a budget, it just means dealing with specialised teams.
