Liquidnitro Games Names Former Tencent Games Global CTO to Lead AI-Powered Game Production

Cedrick Collomb joins Liquidnitro Games as Chief Technology Officer following the company’s $19.1 million Series A, with a focus on AI workflows, live services and global game development.

Hyderabad, India — July 2026 — Liquidnitro Games has appointed Cedrick Collomb, former CTO of Tencent Games Global and EA Mobile, as its new Chief Technology Officer.

The appointment comes shortly after Liquidnitro raised $19.1 million in Series A funding, bringing its total funding to $24.3 million. The company has grown to more than 140 developers and expects to exceed 200 employees by the end of the fiscal year.

Collomb will lead Liquidnitro’s long-term technology strategy and help expand its use of AI across game production and live operations.

AI as a Tool for Creative Teams

Liquidnitro’s strategy is built around using AI to support developers rather than replace them.

The company says its goal is to improve production efficiency, sharpen decision-making and give creative teams more room to build ambitious player experiences.

That approach comes as the games industry faces higher development costs, longer production timelines and growing pressure to operate successful live-service titles.

Liquidnitro believes AI can help studios respond faster to player behaviour while keeping human creativity at the centre of development.

Building a Platform-Led Games Company

Liquidnitro has spent the past two years developing a proprietary technology ecosystem.

Its platform includes Geoplay, an AI-enabled agentic operating system, alongside Nitro Forge, Nitro Brain and Nitro Blocks. Together, the tools are designed to support game development from initial production through launch, live operations and international expansion.

With Collomb joining as CTO, the company plans to deepen the integration of agentic AI across these systems.

The aim is to make production and live-service operations more predictable while improving how teams use player data and market insights.

Cedrick Collomb Brings Nearly Three Decades of Experience

Collomb brings extensive experience across gaming and technology.

Before joining Liquidnitro, he served as CTO of Tencent Games Global and previously held the same role at EA Mobile.

His earlier career also includes leadership positions at AMD, Pearson, Kabam, LucasArts and Sony Computer Entertainment.

Liquidnitro CEO and co-founder Sandeep Kowdley said Collomb’s experience would help accelerate the company’s technology strategy and strengthen its ambition to become a global games business.

Collomb said Liquidnitro’s model stood out because it treats technology as a multiplier for experienced game development teams.

Focus on High-Growth Gaming Markets

Liquidnitro operates across three main areas:

zero-to-one game production;

end-to-end live services; and

expansion into high-growth regions.

The company is targeting markets including India, the Middle East, North Africa and Southeast Asia, where global publishers are seeking new audiences and stronger local execution.

Liquidnitro argues that success in these regions depends on more than simply scaling production.

Studios need cultural understanding, strong live-service operations and the ability to respond quickly to changing player behaviour.

What Comes Next

Collomb’s appointment signals that Liquidnitro intends to invest more heavily in its technology platform and AI workflows.

The company says the next phase will focus especially on Geoplay and deeper use of agentic AI across production, launch and live operations.

For the wider games industry, the move reflects a growing shift in how AI is being positioned.

Rather than focusing only on automated content generation, some companies are using AI to improve workflows, player intelligence, decision-making and global operations.

Liquidnitro’s bet is that the strongest results will come when AI enhances experienced creative teams instead of trying to replace them.
