Music For is the new podcast between artist, designer and producer Amrita Sen and citiesabc and openbusinesscouncil Founder Dinis Guarda. This is Music For Buddha 2 with Special Guest Suvarna Jha Sira, where Amrita, Dinis and Suvarna explore Buddha’s life by reconstructing the myth and they give a very personal note on the importance of his figure in current India.
Thought as a collaborative work between the two, the podcast showcases the power of music to improve our wellbeing and healing as well as Amrita’s exclusive ideas in terms of narratives from Indian Mythology. About Suvarna Jha Sira
Suvarna Jha is an Indian television actress known for her role in the TV Series Tripti Virani in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Suvarna Jha was also a part of a 2003 Bollywood movie Sssshhh. It was Farah Khan, the daughter of the yesteryear Bollywood actor Sanjay Khan who offered her role in a show titled 'Jannat' which was broadcast on Channel Nine Gold. She played the character of Zoya in that Muslim social drama. Soon after she was offered a role in Dekho Magar Pyaar Se, which was to be aired on the Star Plus channel. She hosted LUX Kaun Jeetega Bollywood Ka Ticket which aired on 9X. In 2005 she began to play the role of Mishti in Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai, and in 2006–07 she played the role of Karuna in Kasamh Se. The role of Tripti Sahil Virani in a very popular TV series of its time, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (July 3,2000 – November 6, 2008), aired on Star Plus, is what gave Suvarna a boost in her career. Tripti is the name by which a large portion of her fans know her, and the way she presented her character made her sparkle among the other members of the cast, resulting in many directors and producers casting her in different TV shows/series.

Originally from India, Amrita Sen is a US-based designer, singer, producer and business woman of Indian-themed products and entertainment for global markets. Amrita Sen combines the creation of original artistic content with extensive business experience to commercialize unique products at retail and on-the-air. Among her many achievements, Amrita performed at the 2009’s Academy Awards with music legend AR Rahman, singing Jai Ho from the Oscar-winning movie, Slumdog Millionaire.
