Postr Raises $8 Million to Scale Creator Marketing Platform and Industry-First Pricing Index

Postr Raises $8 Million to Scale Creator Marketing Platform and Industry-First Pricing Index

Miami startup aims to become the operating system for the creator economy, unifying discovery, campaigns, fulfillment, and payments into one automated system.

Postr, the Miami-based platform reshaping how brands and creators work together, has closed an $8 million growth funding round. The capital will fuel product development around the Postr Index, support strategic hiring, and accelerate expansion of the company's automated marketing infrastructure.

Solving the Creator Economy's Operational Bottleneck

Postr was founded by entrepreneur Demetrios Kafouros, who spent years on the brand side of influencer marketing before building the platform. Rather than stitching together multiple vendors and manual workflows, Postr consolidates creator discovery, contracting, product fulfillment, performance tracking, and payments into a single system, a shift the company positions as long overdue for an industry still run largely on spreadsheets and email threads.

Kafouros co-founded the company with Gabrielle Pressas, a TikTok and Instagram creator, and technical lead Matthew Lim. The platform reportedly spent roughly four and a half years in development before launching publicly in May 2026.

The Postr Index: Bringing Price Transparency to Creator Deals

At the center of the platform sits the Postr Index, described as the first pricing index built specifically for the creator economy. Drawing a comparison to how Kelley Blue Book standardised automotive pricing, the Index analyzes marketplace data spanning social platforms, creator tiers, and content formats to generate consistent pricing benchmarks, an area historically plagued by wide, unpredictable rate swings based on platform, geography, and audience size.

Through the free Creator Scan tool, both brands and creators can enter a social handle and receive an instant estimate of that creator's market value. Notably, Postr has chosen to make this pricing data public rather than gating it behind a paywall, a decision the company frames as part of its push to become an industry reference point.

How the Platform Works

Brands using Postr can set campaign budgets, define target audiences, and upload product details, then manage matching, logistics, delivery, and payment from a single dashboard. Key features include:

  • Escrow-based payments — funds are held until content is approved
  • Live platform integrations across TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn, allowing brands to monitor and adjust targeting mid-campaign
  • Pre-approved campaign matching — creators only see campaigns they already qualify for
  • A standard 14-day content creation window
  • Manual vetting and a strike system to maintain creator quality and platform integrity

The company also built in a third user category beyond brands and creators: recruiters, who earn a 2% residual commission on campaigns generated by the brands or creators they refer to the platform.

A Philosophy of Guided, Not Scripted, Content

Kafouros has been vocal about a core belief shaping Postr's design: that heavy brand control undermines the effectiveness of creator content. The platform is built to give brands visibility and brand-safety guardrails without pushing them toward over-scripting creator posts, preserving the authenticity Kafouros argues is what makes influencer marketing work in the first place.

Growth Plans and What's Next

Postr is preparing to open its first headquarters in Miami's Wynwood neighborhood this August. Leadership has described the $8 million raise as the opening move in a broader, multi-stage capital strategy, with additional fundraising anticipated as the company scales its marketplace and platform capabilities.

"This investment represents a major milestone for Postr and reinforces our vision for the future of creator marketing," said Kafouros. "As the creator economy continues to mature, brands need infrastructure that makes creator partnerships as scalable and measurable as any other marketing channel."

The round was backed by longtime partners who have worked alongside Kafouros across previous ventures.

The Road Ahead

Postr's ambitions extend beyond campaign management software, the company says it wants to become the default operating system for creator marketing, complete with built-in educational resources for both brands and creators. Whether that vision takes hold will hinge on a few open questions: how readily advertisers adopt standardised creator rates, how much trust creators place in automated matching and payment systems, and whether Postr can scale its marketplace without compromising the vetting quality it has built its reputation on.

About Postr

Postr is an end-to-end creator marketing platform connecting brands with pre-vetted creators through a single automated system. Covering everything from matching and campaign execution to shipping, content approval, performance tracking, and payment, Postr is designed to replace fragmented, manual workflows with unified infrastructure.
