RAW Capital Partners has announced sponsorship deals with Richmond Rugby and Guernsey Raiders for the 2024/25 season, supporting Richmond as the headline sponsor and Guernsey as the match ball sponsor. RAW Capital Partners has announced sponsorship deals with Richmond Rugby and Guernsey Raiders for the 2024/25 season, supporting Richmond as the headline sponsor and Guernsey as the match ball sponsor. This partnership underscores RAW's commitment to community engagement and its growing profile in sports, marking a dynamic season for both clubs.

RAW Capital Partners, a specialist investment manager based in Guernsey, has signed major sponsorship deals with both Richmond Rugby Club in London and Guernsey Raiders Rugby Club for the 2024/25 season.

As part of the sponsorship, RAW Capital Partners has become the headline sponsor for Richmond Rugby, one of the oldest rugby clubs in the world, established in 1861 and a founding member of the Rugby Football Union. The sponsorship includes branding across all team kits – Men's, Women's, and Youth Boys' and Girls' – further cementing their partnership.

“We are delighted to welcome RAW Capital Partners on board as our new main sponsor for the 2024/25 season,” said Nick Preston, Chairman of Richmond Rugby. “We are excited about this new relationship, which we hope is the start of a long-term partnership. We look forward to supporting RAW in their efforts to grow their profile both locally and nationally, and all our teams will wear the RAW-branded Richmond shirts with great pride as we look forward to a successful season ahead.”

Ben Nichols, Managing Director of RAW Capital Partners, expressed his enthusiasm about the sponsorship: “Richmond Rugby is rugby’s original rugby club – a great partner to have as we look to raise the profile of our business, and we wish all the Richmond Rugby teams the very best of luck in the coming season.”

For Guernsey Raiders Rugby Club, RAW Capital Partners has secured the role of match ball sponsor, providing essential support to the club as it continues to foster rugby talent within the local community. The Guernsey-based club, associated with the RFU and founded in 1913, offers rugby for both adult and youth players.

Gary Haycock-West, Guernsey Raiders Chairman, expressed his gratitude for the partnership: “We are delighted and very thankful to welcome RAW Capital Partners to the Guernsey Raiders family. It’s no secret that raising funds for our representative teams to keep playing rugby at a high level is vital, however, for us it is much more than that. We are excited to build and develop the partnership with RAW and can’t wait to see their teams at Foote's Lane this season.”

Tim Parkes, Chief Executive Officer for RAW Capital Partners, shared his thoughts on the collaboration: “We appreciate how important the Guernsey Raiders Rugby Club is to the local community, and it is a pleasure to support them. We too are looking forward to seeing their progress, and enjoying the games, this season.”
