Razer Becomes Official Headset Partner of BLAST Premier Through 2028
21 Sept 2026

The two-year esports partnership will put Razer headsets on the BLAST Premier Counter-Strike 2 stage across 12 events, beginning with BLAST Premier Rivals Hong Kong in November 2026.
21 September 2026 — Razer has signed a two-year partnership with BLAST Premier, becoming the global Counter-Strike 2 tournament series’ Official Headset Partner across 12 events through 2028. The partnership will debut at BLAST Premier Rivals Hong Kong, taking place from 11–15 November 2026.
The agreement will integrate Razer headsets into BLAST Premier’s competitive environment while also giving the brand visibility across broadcasts, digital content and fan-facing activations. BLAST says the partnership will extend across its Bounty, Open and Rivals events, giving Razer a long-term presence across one of Counter-Strike’s most established international circuits.
At the centre of the partnership is the Razer BlackShark V3 Pro, the latest generation of the company’s competitive gaming headset line.
Built for competitive Counter-Strike

Counter-Strike is a game where audio information can decide a round. Footsteps, reloads and team communication can reveal positions or influence decisions within seconds, making headset performance particularly important at professional level.
Razer says the BlackShark V3 Pro was developed around those competitive demands, with a focus on sound clarity, communication, noise isolation and comfort during long tournament sessions. The headset was refined with input from professional players, including Counter-Strike Major champion and Team Razer athlete Nikola “NiKo” Kovač. Razer
The company says NiKo worked directly with its engineers to fine-tune the headset for competitive CS2, including details intended to make subtle in-game audio cues easier to distinguish.
Jeffrey Chau, Global Esports Director at Razer, said the partnership gives the company a consistent global Counter-Strike stage on which to test and demonstrate its competitive audio technology.
Esports is where we prove our technology, learn from the world’s best, and set the standard for competitive performance.

More than 775 pros reportedly use Razer headsets
Razer is also using the partnership to reinforce the BlackShark line’s position in professional esports.
According to ProSettings.net data cited by Razer, more than 775 tracked professional esports players worldwide currently use a Razer headset. The BlackShark line holds the top two positions among gaming headsets tracked by the site, while the BlackShark V3 Pro is currently the most-used headset among its tracked professional Counter-Strike 2 players. Those figures are based on ProSettings.net’s tracked player database rather than the entire global professional esports population, but they indicate substantial adoption within competitive gaming.
Razer also says the latest BlackShark V3 Pro uses HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2 with latency as low as 10 milliseconds, alongside 50 mm bio-cellulose drivers, hybrid active noise cancellation and a detachable 12 mm microphone designed for competitive communication.
BLAST continues to expand its commercial ecosystem
For BLAST, the partnership adds another major gaming hardware brand to its commercial portfolio.
The tournament organiser already works with ASUS ROG as its official monitor, PC, laptop, keyboard and mouse partner for the 2026 BLAST Premier season, covering six events across three continents.
Razer’s role is therefore focused specifically on headsets, giving BLAST another specialised hardware partner within its competitive setup.
Steve Rossi, Senior Vice President of Brand Partnerships at BLAST, said Razer’s long-standing focus on competitive players made the brand a natural fit for the tournament series.
Bringing Razer headsets to BLAST Premier strengthens the stage environment for our teams and connects one of esports’ most established brands with Counter-Strike fans around the world.
Hong Kong will be the first event under the deal
The partnership will make its first live appearance at BLAST Premier Rivals Hong Kong from 11–15 November 2026.
Razer will have an on-site presence at the event, alongside integration across the tournament broadcast and arena experience. BLAST has also said the wider partnership will include digital content and fan-facing activations across future events.
The Hong Kong tournament is already shaping up as one of BLAST Premier’s major late-season events. BLAST has also developed premium travel and hospitality packages around the event, reflecting its broader strategy of treating esports as a live entertainment experience rather than only a streamed competition.
Esports remains a product-development environment for Razer
The partnership also reflects a broader strategy Razer has followed for years: using professional esports as a development and validation environment for hardware.
The company says feedback from professional players has shaped multiple generations of the BlackShark line since its launch in 2012. By placing the headset across BLAST Premier events through 2028, Razer gains repeated exposure to top-level Counter-Strike competition while also creating a marketing platform around professional adoption.
For gaming brands, that combination is valuable.
Professional players provide real-world product feedback under high-pressure conditions, while tournament visibility helps translate esports credibility into consumer demand.
The result is a partnership that operates on two levels at once: equipment supply for professional competition and a long-term brand platform built around Counter-Strike’s global audience.
