TCU Introduces a Free Tuition Initiative to Assist Qualified Texas Students

A ground-breaking program introduced by Texas Christian University (TCU) will increase access to higher education for Texas students who are struggling financially. Beginning with the Fall 2026 semester, the new program, TCU for Texans, intends to offer qualifying first-year students complete tuition coverage along with housing and nutrition assistance.

Benefits and Eligibility Requirements

Students must reside in Texas, be Pell Grant recipients, and have a household income of $70,000 or less in order to be eligible for the TCU for Texans program. Every year, the program's eligibility is reevaluated, and it is renewable.
