Valorant Patch 11.06 Breakdown
Staff
24 Sept 2025

Riot Games released Valorant patch 11.06 on September 16, 2025, bringing the feature players wanted most. After years of waiting, players finally got the replay system they asked for. This update also has important bot bans and bug fixes that make the game better.
The replay system is the biggest new thing added to Valorant since the game started. Players can now watch their matches from different views, learn from their mistakes, and make clips from many angles. But the feature has some limits that have made parts of the community unhappy.

Replay System Launch

The replay system is now working on PC for all areas except China.
Here's when it comes out:
| Platform | Release Date | Patch Version | Notes |
| PC (Most Regions) | September 16, 2025 | 11.06 | Works now |
| PC (China) | October 9, 2025 | 11.07b | Comes out later |
| Console | November 11, 2025 | 11.10 | PlayStation and Xbox |
Players can find replays in their match history. A replay button shows up next to each game you can watch. The system works for Competitive, Unrated, Swiftplay, and Premier games, but you can't use it for custom matches yet.
Replay Features and Controls
The replay system has many viewing options that help players look at their gameplay:
| Features | What You Can Do |
| Camera Controls | Watch from any player's view, Move camera freely, Turn player outlines on/off, Follow things like Sova's dart |
| Playback Controls | Change speed (0.1x to 8x), Pause and go back, Jump to any round, See timeline with kills and deaths |
| Visual Options | Turn on/off friend and enemy outlines, Switch between first-person and free camera, See from new angles |
Major Limitations

Even though people are excited, the replay system has big problems that have made many players unhappy. The biggest problem is that players can only watch replays of their own matches. You can't watch games from other players, streamers, or pro matches. This makes it much less useful for learning from good players.
Replays get deleted when each new patch comes out, which happens about every two weeks. Players can't save replays forever, so good moments disappear fast.
Missing Features:
- No support for custom games (where most pro teams practice)
- Can't watch official tournament matches
- Some ability maps don't work right
- Mini-map doesn't hide enemy spots properly
Community Reactions

People had mixed feelings about this news. While players are happy to finally have replays, many think the limits make it less helpful than they hoped. Pro players have been really critical.
Sentinels player TenZ said he was upset on social media, asking why the system came out without being able to watch other players' games. He said teams can't properly study high-level gameplay or review practice matches together.
Other pros said similar things, noting that the replay system's limits stop it from being a serious tool for getting better at the game. Not being able to watch custom games is especially annoying since that's where most pro practice happens.
Bot Bans and Anti-Cheat Improvements
Patch 11.06 brings good news for players tired of dealing with bots in ranked games. Riot said they banned 40,000 bot accounts over the past six months. This huge ban should make lower-rank matches more fair and fun.
The company has been working hard to reduce bad behavior in competitive matches. Recent changes to AFK penalties made AFK rates go down by 20% in ranked games and queue dodging go down by 6%.
Bug Fixes and Performance Updates
The patch fixes a rare but annoying bug affecting Yoru and Reyna. In specific situations, these agents would go back to their original spot after their invisibility abilities ended. This problem has been completely fixed.
- PC Performance: The RawInputBuffer setting has been removed and is now always on. Riot says this change makes performance better for all players with no downsides.
- Console Updates: Console players got a fix for New Player Tips that weren't showing right. But there's still a problem where dropped weapons and the Spike highlight wrong. This will be fixed in patch 11.07.

Riot has said they will keep working on the replay system based on what the community says. While the current version has limits, the basic system is now ready for future improvements. The company is likely watching how players use the feature and what extra things they want most.
Patch 11.06 is a big moment for Valorant, even if the replay system isn't perfect yet. Adding this long-asked-for feature, along with big bot bans and important bug fixes, makes this one of the most important updates in recent memory.
