New Delhi- based fashion designer Abdul Halder's deep-seated passion for the tropes of haute couture is one of the qualities that has given an edge to his design aesthetic.
Fashion designer Abdul Halder debuted his eponymous luxury label in Lakmé Fashion Week 2006. He is the only Indian designer who has showcased a collection at the United Nations headquarters in New York in July 2008 and reportedly designed for the late Michael Jackson, Queen Rania of Jordan, Her Highness Sheikh Al-Deira of Dubai, Kathleen Kennedy and Tracy Fredrick.

Though there was intense workmanship such as intricate threadwork, all garments had an ease to them. Sari gowns and short jackets teamed with saris alternated with crop tops with slim pants and short dresses with a long sheer overlay.. in tune with this season's play on sheer and solid."
