History

Adesto Technologies was founded in 2006 as Echelon Corporation, a fabless semiconductor company based in Santa Clara, California. Since then, the company has acquired several smaller companies in the memory space, including Atmel Corporation’s SmartAVR non-volatile memory business and ISSI’s non-volatile memory business. Adesto has grown to become one of the leading providers of non-volatile memory solutions in the world.
