History

AppLovin was founded in 2012. Initially they developed an app store optimization solution and some marketing software tools. By 2013, they had created a mobile advertising technology solution that allowed mobile app developers to monetize their apps. In 2016, AppLovin acquired MoPub, the world’s largest mobile ad exchange.
