Artem Kopanyev is the current COO of Genesis, one of the largest global app developers. Apps of Genesis companies have been downloaded by more than 300 mn users globally and are used by tens of millions of users monthly.

In 2020, Genesis and Meta successfully held the first Startup Academy, to connect startup-minded entrepreneurs from 7 countries. The program is partnered by Amazon Web Services, Horizon Capital, Flyer One Ventures, AppsFlyer, Awesomic, Legal Nodes, Notion, Zendesk, and many more.

With an academic background in Finance, Artem started his career in 2014 at the Institute of Gerontology as a rehabilitation strategies developer and analyst. His key project at the Institute was “Movement therapy in Parkinson's disease rehabilitation”.

Two years later, he moved on to become the Analyst and Transaction Advisory Services at Ernst & Young, one of the Big Four accounting firms in the world.

As an Operations Manager, Artem first joined Genesis in 2017, and then Glovo, a food delivery company, to work with Genesis Technologies back again in 2020.

Outside the private sector, he is also a lecturer at Kyiv School of Economics, where he imparts courses related to product-based IT businesses.

During his time there, he demonstrated his commitment to enhancing the well-being of individuals through innovative rehabilitation approaches.

EY - Analyst, Transaction Advisory Services (Feb 2016 - Sep 2017): Artem transitioned to EY, where he took on the role of Analyst in Transaction Advisory Services. This experience equipped him with a solid understanding of financial intricacies and transactional dynamics, a skill set that would prove invaluable in his future leadership roles.
