Banco BMG S.A. was founded in 1950 by Arnoldo Wald and is headquartered in the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte. It is one of the largest banking companies in Brazil and is listed on the Bovespa Stock Exchange. The bank has grown significantly over the years, acquiring and merging with other banking institutions in Brazil, such as Bandeco and Anglo-Nassau. Today, Banco BMG is a major player in the retail banking market in Brazil.
