Founded in 1996, Banco del Bajío was the first private bank to be established in the Mexican state of Bajío, becoming an important part of the local economy. Since then, the bank has grown to serve locations throughout Mexico, primarily in the northern areas of Bajío, Jalisco, and Mexico City.
