It operates through 21 offices in Manitowoc, Outagamie, Brown, Winnebago, Sheboygan, Waupaca, Ozaukee, Monroe, and Jefferson counties in Wisconsin. The company was formerly known as Bank First National Corporation and changed its name to Bank First Corporation in June 2019. Bank First Corporation was founded in 1894 and is headquartered in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
History
Bank First was founded in 1999 by a group of investors in Wisconsin. The founders’ passion was to provide convenient banking services to a variety of customers while striving for excellence. After a successful launch, Bank First grew to become one of the most well-known banks in the Midwest. The bank opened its inaugural branch in downtown Milwaukee, and since then we’ve grown to nearly 50 locations throughout the region. In 2017, Bank First merged with another regional bank to form the financial powerhouse we are today.
