Barrett Business Services, Inc. was founded in 1989 by Michael Elich and Robert Jardini, who had previously worked in the professional employment services industry and believed in providing a higher quality service than that offered by their competitors. They formed BBSI with the goal of providing an affordable, reliable and responsive human resources solution to businesses of all sizes. Through steady growth and acquisitions, BBSI has grown to serve customers in all 50 states, providing integrated human resources, Employee Benefits and Risk Management services.
