Broca began his professional career in finance. During his studies, he completed internships at Deutsche Bank in London and Michelin in Shanghai, where he worked on credit structuring and supply chain optimisation, respectively. After graduating from Columbia University, he worked as a quantitative trader at One Seven Capital Management and later joined Barclays as an Associate Vice President in the rates structuring team, working with trading and sales teams.

In 2012, Broca transitioned into entrepreneurship and founded Now, Inc., a mobile application company. He subsequently founded Facefeed through Context Labs in 2013, developing a photo messaging application and raising funding from investors including Thrive Capital and SV Angel. According to company descriptions, Broca built and designed the first version of the product himself.

In 2015, he co-founded Hutch, a technology company focused on virtual interior design and 3D rendering.
