Berlin University of the Arts

The Berlin University of the Arts, situated in Berlin is the second largest art school in Europe. The public art and design school is recognised for being one of the biggest and most diversified universities of the arts worldwide. It has four colleges specialising in fine arts, architecture, media and design, music and the performing arts.

The teaching -mostly in traditional formats in the four colleges of Fine Arts, Architecture, Media and Design, Music and Performing Arts as well as at the Central Institute for Continued Education/ Berlin Career College and the inter-University centres for Dance and Jazz has more than seventy courses. Following German reunification, the institution was renamed Universität der Künste Berlin in 2001, reflecting its comprehensive range of disciplines and status as a unified university.
