BigBand Networks, Inc. was founded by Amir Bassan-Eskenazi, Ziv Kalontarov, and Jacob Chacko to build a centralized digital video processing platform in 2000. In 2004, BigBand had its IPO on NASDAQ and in 2005 it acquired C-COR’s video-on-demand business. In 2007, the company was acquired by ARRIS Group.
