Bintulu Port Sdn Bhd is one of the biggest port and terminal operators in Malaysia. It is owned by Bintulu Port Authority (BPA), and has been operating in Bintulu since 1977 as the principal port of East Malaysia.
History

Bintulu Port Sdn Bhd was originally established in 1975 as the port of entry and exit for Bintulu. This area is located in Northern Borneo, on the island of Sarawak. The port is currently the largest port in Sarawak and handles both ports and terminals. It is a major gateway for regional trade in East Malaysia and the surrounding ASEAN area.

The port has been recognised for its commitment to excellence and efficiency with awards such as Malaysia's Best Port for the Year 2001, Excellence Award for Port Operation Efficiency in 2002 and Best Port Operator for 2003.
