History

Boardwalk REIT was established in 2003 when its predecessor Grid Real Estate Investment Trust was acquired by Boardwalk Equity Corporation Ltd, an Alberta-based private real estate company. Since then, Boardwalk REIT has grown to become one of the largest owners, managers, and developers of multi-family real estate communities in Canada.
