Broadstone Net Lease was founded in 2010 by managing principals Rob Sakwa and Chad Musgrove. The company began with a focus on the acquisition of net leased industrial and office properties in the Midwest but quickly expanded its presence throughout the United States. By 2017, the firm had become one of the leading net lease real estate investment firms in the country, with a presence in 36 states.
