She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History, Criticism, and Conservation from The American University of Paris in 1998. In 1997, Carolina began her career in the art world with an internship at the Musée du Louvre in Paris, where she assisted in the preparation of catalogues for exhibitions. Later, in 1998, she joined Sotheby’s as a research assistant in the department of ancient drawings. During this time, she was responsible for conducting historical research and preparing auction catalogues, gaining valuable experience in the art market.
By 2000, Carolina took on the role of a gallery assistant at Walpole Gallery in London. Her responsibilities included providing administrative support to the gallery owner, responding to inquiries, and assisting with client relations. After two years, she moved on to Christie’s in London, where she worked as a VIP Relations Associate for over seven years. In this role, she was involved in assisting auction participants, managing pre-auction viewings, and acting as a liaison between clients and art experts.
In 2010, Carolina became the Relationship Manager at Mica Gallery Ltd, where she oversaw VIP and public relations, coordinated artist relations, and organised charity events. This role deepened her understanding of client relations and community engagement within the art world.
From 2012, Carolina served as a Board Member in Charge of Marketing at Azienda Agricola, a family business based in Salerno, Italy.
