Initially, Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals Limited (CFCL) was a unit of K.K.Birla group. Later on, the Great Chambal Fertiliser and Chemicals Limited (GCFC), an Urea plant, was commissioned in 1993 at Gadepan, located in Kota, Rajasthan.
