Chenglin Wu

Chenglin Wu is the Founder and CEO of DeepWisdom and the creator of MetaGPT, a multi-agent collaborative framework. Wu began his career at Huawei Technologies in 2012, where he contributed to the design of product architectures and open-source projects. After working at Huawei for nearly two years, he joined Tencent in 2014 as a Senior Researcher. During his time at Tencent, he made significant contributions to projects involving large-scale recommender systems, search engines, and knowledge graphs, impacting over a billion users.
 

In 2019, Wu founded DeepWisdom, an AI-driven company focused on empowering enterprises through AI solutions, and later created MetaGPT, which gained international attention. In 2019, Wu founded DeepWisdom, an AI-driven company focused on empowering businesses with advanced AI solutions. As CEO of DeepWisdom, he created MetaGPT, a multi-agent collaborative framework. MetaGPT became widely recognised in the AI community, and Wu’s work in developing this platform has been published in several prestigious academic journals and conferences, including KDD, CVPR, and ACL.
 

Wu's contributions extend beyond DeepWisdom. He is also the author of several influential papers, including "MetaGPT: Meta Programming for A Multi-Agent Collaborative Framework," which was presented at the Twelfth International Conference on Learning Representations in 2023. 

In 2025, Wu launched MetaGPT as a fully-fledged project under DeepWisdom, aiming to make AI more accessible and customisable for enterprises and individuals.
