Claire Pribula is an entrepreneur, venture capital professional, and business executive specialising in agrifood technology (AgTech), venture capital, strategic business development, and international market expansion. She is the Co-founder and Managing Director of The Yield Lab Asia Pacific, an early-stage AgTech venture capital fund based in Singapore and part of the global The Yield Lab network, which invests in technologies addressing agriculture, food production, sustainability, and food security.
With more than three decades of experience across the United States and Asia Pacific, Claire has held senior leadership positions at multinational technology companies including Boeing, Electronic Data Systems (EDS), IBM, SAP, and Acxiom before transitioning into entrepreneurship and venture capital. Throughout her corporate career, she led the development of new business lines, strategic partnerships, supply chain initiatives, enterprise sales, and regional operations across Asia Pacific, Europe, and emerging markets.
At The Yield Lab Asia Pacific, Claire oversees investment strategy, fundraising, portfolio management, company operations, and board governance while supporting early-stage companies commercialising agricultural technologies. She also serves on the Global Board of The Yield Lab and on the boards of several portfolio companies. Her work focuses on supporting scientific innovation, commercialisation, and investment in technologies designed to improve agricultural productivity, sustainability, and global food systems.
Claire Pribula began her professional career in 1983 with Boeing (formerly McDonnell Douglas Systems–McAuto), where she worked as a Senior Account Manager. During her eight-year tenure, she developed experience in enterprise technology sales, customer management, and large-scale commercial accounts, establishing the foundation for a career focused on technology-driven business development.
In 1991, she joined Electronic Data Systems (EDS) as Director of the Transportation and Logistics Industry Practice. In this role, she worked with organisations across the transportation and logistics sectors, leading business development initiatives and applying enterprise technology solutions to supply chain and logistics operations.
Claire joined IBM in 1996, where she spent eight years in several senior leadership roles, including Director of Supply Chain and Director of Industry Sales for e-Marketplace and B2B Solutions across the Asia Pacific region. Her responsibilities included enterprise sales, supply chain transformation, digital commerce initiatives, and regional business development. During this period, she expanded her experience across multiple Asia Pacific markets while working with multinational organisations undergoing digital transformation.
In 2006, Claire moved to SAP as Vice President of Alliance and Partner Ecosystem for Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). She led strategic alliances and partner ecosystem development, strengthening relationships with technology partners and expanding SAP's regional business network throughout Asia Pacific.
She joined Acxiom in 2008 as Vice President for Asia Pacific, where she oversaw regional operations focused on customer intelligence, analytics, data-driven marketing, and business growth. Her work included expanding enterprise relationships and supporting organisations in the use of data and analytics to improve commercial decision-making.
In 2010, Claire became Senior Vice President and Partner at Wildfire, later rebranded as ActSocial, a social media and analytics technology company headquartered in Singapore. As a founding partner, she contributed to the company's commercial growth and regional expansion before the business was acquired by Linkfluence. The experience provided first-hand exposure to building and scaling a technology start-up through to a successful exit.
Building on her experience across multinational corporations and entrepreneurial ventures, Claire co-founded The Yield Lab Asia Pacific in 2017 and became its Managing Director. Operating from Singapore, the fund forms part of the global The Yield Lab network of independent AgTech investment funds operating across North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
The Yield Lab Asia Pacific focuses on Seed and Series A investments in companies developing technologies for agriculture, food production, sustainability, biotechnology, climate resilience, supply chains, and food security. As Managing Director, Claire oversees fundraising, investment selection, portfolio management, fund operations, governance, and strategic partnerships. She also works closely with founders, scientists, investors, industry partners, and government organisations to support the commercialisation and international scaling of early-stage AgTech companies.
The fund combines venture capital investment with industry expertise, scientific mentoring, and commercial support, helping portfolio companies develop technologies capable of addressing agricultural productivity and sustainability challenges. Through its collaboration with Enterprise Singapore's investment arm, SEEDS Capital, The Yield Lab Asia Pacific also participates in co-investment initiatives supporting innovation across the region.
Claire additionally serves on the Global Board of The Yield Lab and is a board member of several portfolio companies. Her responsibilities include contributing to the global development of the organisation, supporting collaboration across regional funds, and providing governance for companies within the investment portfolio.
Over the course of her career, Claire has worked across venture capital, enterprise technology, supply chain, strategic partnerships, international sales, market development, business transformation, and commercialisation. Her experience spans both established multinational corporations and early-stage companies, combining corporate leadership with venture investing and innovation management across the Asia Pacific region.

Under her leadership, the Asia Pacific fund has become part of a global network that has invested in more than 118 portfolio companies, manages over US$200 million in assets globally, has contributed to the creation of more than 4,000 jobs, and supports innovations aligned with 12 of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Her professional recognition is also reflected in more than three decades of leadership across global technology companies, including Boeing, Electronic Data Systems, IBM, SAP, and Acxiom, where she held senior executive positions spanning enterprise technology, supply chain, strategic partnerships, international sales, and business development. She has also been recognised for her contribution to entrepreneurship through her role as a founding partner of a Singapore-based technology start-up that achieved a successful acquisition.
Within the venture capital ecosystem, Claire serves on the boards of several portfolio companies and contributes to investment governance, commercialisation strategies, fundraising, and founder mentorship. Her work continues to focus on supporting the development and scaling of early-stage AgTech businesses across Asia Pacific while contributing to the broader global innovation ecosystem through The Yield Lab network.
