Conor Grennan

Conor Grennan is the Chief AI Architect at NYU Stern School of Business and the CEO and Founder of AI Mindset, a consulting company that provides training for professionals, leaders, and organisations on generative AI frameworks. He has worked with leading organisations such as OpenAI, McKinsey, Google, NASA, JP Morgan, and PWC, among others. He is also the Head GenAI Trainer for the Chief Executive Group and serves as LinkedIn Learning’s instructor for AI for Business.

In 2024, he was named to Edelman's list of Top 50 Trusted Voices in AI, recognising his leadership and expertise in the field.

Conor is a keynote speaker at major events, including the Generative AI World Conference, PWC’s Trust Leadership Academy, and the Chief Executive Annual Summit. His AI insights have been featured in Forbes, Entrepreneur, Business Insider, and Vox. Conor is a New York Times and international bestselling author. His book, Little Princes: One Man’s Promise to Bring Home the Lost Children of Nepal, has been translated into 15 languages. He is also the founder of Next Generation Nepal, an organisation focused on reuniting trafficked children with their families. For this work, he received the Unsung Hero of Compassion Award from the Dalai Lama in 2014 and was named a Huffington Post Game Changer.

Conor holds a BA in Political Science and English from the University of Virginia and an MBA in Finance and Strategy from NYU Stern, where he served as President of the Student Body. He lives in Connecticut with his wife, Liz, an AI specialist, and their two children. He has recently joined the SHRM Foundation’s Board of Directors.

Conor Grennan was born in the United States. He pursued higher education at the University of Virginia, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and English. Later, he attended NYU Stern School of Business and completed an MBA in Finance and Strategy. During his time at NYU Stern, Conor served as the President of the Student Body, showcasing his leadership abilities.

In 2006, Conor founded Next Generation Nepal (NGN), a non-profit organisation focused on reuniting trafficked children in Nepal with their families. His work with NGN gained significant recognition, and he was named a Huffington Post Game Changer for his humanitarian contributions. In 2014, he was honoured with the Unsung Hero of Compassion Award by the Dalai Lama for his efforts in combating child trafficking.

In 2011, Conor published his memoir, Little Princes: One Man’s Promise to Bring Home the Lost Children of Nepal. The book became a New York Times and international bestseller and has been translated into 15 languages. It highlights his experiences in Nepal and his journey in establishing NGN.

Conor joined NYU Stern School of Business in 2014 as the Dean of Students, a position he held for over a decade. During this time, he played a significant role in supporting student development and leadership.

In April 2024, Conor became the Chief AI Architect at NYU Stern School of Business, focusing on building generative AI fluency across the institution. He also founded AI Mindset, a consulting company that trains professionals, leaders, and organisations on effective generative AI frameworks. Conor has worked with prominent organisations such as OpenAI, McKinsey, Google, NASA, JP Morgan, and PWC.
