Corindus Vascular Robotics, Inc., a Mubadala Investment Company and Siemens Healthineers Company, is a global technology leader in robotic-assisted percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI). The CorPath® System is the first FDA-cleared medical device to bring robotic-assisted precision to PCI procedures. Corindus Union®, Corindus' telestenting platform, is designed to enable long-distance vascular robotic interventions.

History

Corindus was founded in 2008 as Corindus, Inc., a medical robotic-assisted systems manufacturer dedicated to mechanizing the interventional lab and improving the lives of patients treated for vascular disease. In 2017, Corindus was acquired by Siemens Healthineers and the company was renamed Corindus Vascular Robotics, Inc.
