CUBE’s AI-driven technology automates the classification, mapping, and impact assessment of regulations, making compliance more efficient and reducing manual workloads.

CUBE’s solutions are tailored to businesses of all sizes, from large enterprises to mid-market firms. It offers two main platforms: RegPlatform Enterprise, which supports large financial institutions, and RegPlatform Intel, designed for mid-market businesses. The platforms provide real-time alerts, dashboards, and automated regulatory updates to help organisations stay ahead of regulatory changes.

CUBE combines human expertise to ensure the accuracy of regulatory intelligence. It provides customisable alerts, policy mapping, and seamless integration with existing risk and control systems, helping businesses respond quickly and confidently to changes in regulations.

History

CUBE was founded in 2011 by Ben Richmond in response to the growing complexity of global regulatory frameworks following the 2008 financial crisis. The crisis highlighted the need for better tools to help financial institutions comply with an increasing number of regulations. CUBE was established to meet this need, providing financial firms with smarter, more efficient ways to handle regulatory change.

The company developed its core platform, RegPlatform, which leverages artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and natural language processing to process large volumes of regulatory data. This platform automates the classification, mapping, and impact assessment of regulations, making compliance more efficient and reducing the reliance on manual processes. CUBE’s AI engine, known as RegBrain, continuously tracks regulatory changes across various jurisdictions and industries, offering global coverage and real-time monitoring.

As the demand for effective regulatory technology grew, CUBE expanded its offerings to cater to large-scale financial institutions. RegPlatform Enterprise was introduced to meet the compliance needs of large banks, insurers, and asset managers, providing global regulatory intelligence, automated alerts, dashboards, and seamless integration with existing risk and compliance systems.

In 2024, CUBE secured a strategic investment from Hg, a leading software investor. This investment helped CUBE scale its operations and expand its reach across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia. That same year, CUBE acquired Reg-Room and Thomson Reuters' regulatory intelligence products, which enhanced its database and service offerings.

In 2025, CUBE launched RegPlatform Intel, a solution tailored to mid-market firms such as regional banks, wealth managers, and asset managers. RegPlatform Intel combines AI-driven technology with expert human analysis to deliver cost-effective, regulatory intelligence and compliance solutions to smaller teams.

CUBE were recognised in 2025 when the company won the RegTech of the Year APAC award. Today, CUBE serves over 1,000 clients worldwide, offering scalable, AI-powered solutions for regulatory compliance across a broad range of industries. Its platform is trusted by businesses to streamline compliance processes, reduce risks, and ensure they stay ahead of regulatory changes globally.

CUBE’s platform has helped hundreds of financial institutions and regulated businesses improve their efficiency and reduce risk.

Products and Services

CUBE provides a comprehensive suite of regulatory compliance solutions powered by advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, designed to help businesses navigate complex global regulations and automate compliance processes.

RegPlatform Enterprise is CUBE’s enterprise-grade solution built for large financial institutions. This platform helps businesses manage the most demanding compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions. It tracks, analyses, and manages global regulatory changes in real time, offering coverage of over 10,000 regulatory documents from more than 180 jurisdictions. Key features include automated real-time alerts, which notify businesses of regulatory changes, and regulatory mapping, which automatically ties new regulations to internal controls, frameworks, and policies. The platform also integrates seamlessly with existing governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) systems, ensuring smooth data flow across departments.

For smaller firms, RegPlatform Intel offers a more affordable, mid-market solution. While it provides many of the features of RegPlatform Enterprise, it is designed to be a streamlined, user-friendly product. RegPlatform Intel allows businesses to customise alerts for specific regulatory changes and includes expert human interpretation of complex regulations. This product is ideal for smaller teams that need to stay on top of regulatory developments without the resources of larger firms.

RegPlatform Oden is a specialised tool designed specifically for US insurance legislation. It helps insurers track state and federal regulations by providing summarised regulatory updates and generating automated notices. This platform is tailored to meet the specific compliance needs of the insurance industry, making it easier for businesses to stay compliant with constantly changing regulations.

In addition to its software products, CUBE offers regulatory intelligence services to help businesses understand and interpret complex regulations. CUBE’s team of experts provides guidance on how regulatory changes may impact clients and offers support in regulatory strategy, compliance audits, and interpretation. This service helps businesses navigate the intricate regulatory landscape with confidence.

CUBE’s AI-powered regulatory intelligence tools are another key offering. Using advanced algorithms, CUBE’s platform automatically identifies relevant regulations, assesses their impact, and provides actionable insights. The AI enriches regulatory data to ensure businesses receive accurate, up-to-date information, while natural language processing (NLP) helps summarise complex legal texts in a simple, easy-to-understand format. This technology reduces manual workloads, enhances accuracy, and minimises errors, enabling businesses to act quickly in response to regulatory changes.

CUBE offers comprehensive onboarding and support services to ensure that businesses get the most out of its solutions. The company provides a structured onboarding process, making it easier for businesses to implement its platforms. Additionally, CUBE offers continuous support, helping clients resolve issues and ensuring that they are always up to date with the latest regulatory developments.
