First established in 1966 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Cyrela quickly established itself in the Brazilian real estate market. By the early 1990s, it had become one of the largest construction and real estate companies in the country, with a presence in 26 Brazilian states and the Federal District. In 2010, the company went public and began trading on the São Paulo Stock Exchange. Over the years, the company has continued to grow and currently has developments in all major Brazilian cities, including São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Brasília.
