Founded in 1924, Denyo began producing direct current generators powered by gasoline engines. In 1929, Denyo developed its first diesel engine, the iconic DENYO-1. Further innovations over the years saw the company releasing the first DC welding machine in Japan in 1937, the country’s first 400V welding machine in 1962 and its first 200V inverter welding machine in 1987.
