History

DMG MORI was formed from the 2012 merger of Japanese company Mori Seiki Co. Ltd. and German based GILDEMEISTER AG. The company has a long and successful heritage across both branches, with Mori Seiki being founded in 1948 and GILDEMEISTER established in 1867. As one of the world’s leading providers in precision and composite machining, DMG MORI’s offering is a strong mix of technical knowledge and experience, focusing on innovative solutions and services.
