DMG MORI was formed from the 2012 merger of Japanese company Mori Seiki Co. Ltd. and German based GILDEMEISTER AG. The company has a long and successful heritage across both branches, with Mori Seiki being founded in 1948 and GILDEMEISTER established in 1867.
