Entergy Arkansas, LLC, which distributes electricity to approximately 705,000 customers in 63 counties in Arkansas and is a unit of Entergy Corporation, based in New Orleans, La., is an integrated energy company engaged mainly in electric power production and retail distribution operations. It operates in two segments, Electric Utility and Enexus Energy III. The Electric Utility segment is engaged primarily in the generation, transmission, distribution, and sale of electric power. The Enexus Energy III segment is engaged primarily in the sale of natural gas.

On August 29, 2018, Entergy Arkansas won the 2018 Edison Electric Institute Emergency Recovery Award due to its swift and efficient response to the November 2017 winter storm.
