Epizyme, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company creating novel epigenetic therapies for cancers and other diseases with high unmet medical need.

History

Epizyme was founded in 2007 by three leading pioneers in epigenetics research – Troy Australia, Gregory Verdeil, and Craig Thompson. The core team consists of leading researchers, developers, and expert advisors in the areas of oncology, rare diseases and diseases of the central nervous system.

Mission

Epizyme is dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by cancer, and other serious diseases. We believe in the promise of epigenetics to drive the development of novel treatments to improve the futures of those afflicted by these debilitating illnesses.

Vision

Our vision is to create an even more personalized approach to treatment of diseases, providing life-saving therapies that are tailored to individual circumstances, based on a detailed understanding of the epigenetics driving their disease.
