Evolution Mining was established in late 2011 as a result of a merger between Catalpa Resources and Conquest Mining. It is a publicly listed company with its head office in Sydney, Australia. The company has operations in New South Wales, Queensland, and Western Australia and provides employment for around 1,200 people.
