History
Excel Crop Care Limited was incorporated in the state of Maharashtra in 1983. Initially, the company started its operations with the manufacturing of some basic agrochemicals from a facility in Ahmedabad. In 1994, the company decided to increase its manufacturing capacity and it set up a manufacturing plant in Ankleshwar. In order to further strengthen its presence, the company also acquired Jhonson Agro Chemicals in 2000.
