Ezz Steel was established in 1975. It was the first domestic producer of flat steel products in Egypt. In 1988, it completed a major expansion project which introduced a new galvanizing line and advanced cold-rolling mills. Over the years, the company has upgraded its production capacity and technology, making it the largest steel producer in Egypt and one of the largest in the MENA region.
