History
FamilyMart was the first convenience store chain to open 24 hours a day in Japan. It opened its first store in 1988, and now operates over 20,000 stores in Japan and other countries around the world. FamilyMart originated in the belief that there must be a better way to provide customers with products and services that are easily accessible and affordable.
