History

Gabriel India Ltd, a flagship company of the Gabriel Group, was established in 1961. Gabriel started with a single product, the Shock absorber, and rapidly grew to become a 'complete suspension solutions provider'. Gabriel created path-breaking technology in the form of 'Twintube dampers' in 1970. Gabriel was the first company in India to achieve Technology Transfer from M/S Gabriel in U.K for Tube Type Shock Absorbers and continued technical collaborations with worldwide leaders in active and passive suspension products.
