History

Gevo started in 2005 with a commitment to use the power of fermentation to make products from renewable sources and reduce the risk of climate change. Gevo has grown from a small technology project to an international leader in the production of renewable fuels and chemicals. Gevo has operated a small bio-refinery in Luverne, Minnesota since 2011, and has a larger full-scale commercial facility in Silsbee, Texas.
