It manages water services in 227 municipalities and serves a catchment area of approximately 3.6 million inhabitants with a water network of 35.080 kilometers; and provides gas with a network covering approximately 19,953 kilometers. The company was founded in 2002 and is headquartered in Bologna, Italy.
History
Hera Group is an international group that was formed in 2008 through the merger of two large Italian utility companies, Herambiente and Acegas-Aps. It has since grown to become one of the largest energy companies in Italy, with a presence in Croatia and Albania. It has over 4.5 million customers in Italy and is the second-largest gas distributor in the country.
