History

GURUNAVI was founded in 1999 by Japanese software engineer Hiroyuki Takimine and has since become a widely used restaurant search website in Japan. The service was introduced in several other Asian countries such as Taiwan, Thailand, Hong Kong and Singapore. GURUNAVI has also launched its first overseas website in the US in 2009.
