History

HDFC Life was established in 2000 as a joint venture between HDFC Limited and Standard Life Aberdeen. Since its inception, the company has grown exponentially and has received numerous awards and recognition from various industry bodies. It is the second-largest private life insurer in the country, with a market share of 11.3% as of June 2020. With over 1.65 crore policies and 2.72 crore lives covered, HDFC Life provides its customers with a comprehensive range of life insurance solutions.
