Healthcare Services Group was founded in 1976 by Leonard Grunstein and Irving Goldstine. The company's original business model was hospital laundry service, which quickly expanded to include housekeeping, dietary, plant operations and maintenance services. In 1986, HCSG became a publicly traded company and has since grown to become one of the largest providers of healthcare services in the nation.
