Heartland Express was founded in 1981, starting with a single bobtail truck operating local deliveries in the Midwest. Today, with a fleet of over 2,100 trucks, 37 service terminals, and twoandahalf decades of trucking experience, Heartland Express is one of the most respected and dependable truckload carriers in the U.S.
